The latest sport to be over run by the so called power 5 is baseball unfortunately. Guys there is only one team just one with more top 100 wins in the entire Top 25 on both CBN and Coaches Polls. We have the 29th toughest schedule to date and have won 19 of 25 and the respect we get is #36 last week and #34 this week give me a break. Little ole C-USA is the 4th toughest conference in all of baseball and we only have 1 team in the top 25, this is unheard of in years past but now I'm afraid the money has made its way down to baseball and the P-5 along with their media bias are pushing all the buttons in a sport I never believed would get to this. We have a dang RPI of 13 and a SOS of 29 and can't even garner Top 30 status much less Top 20 status, this is a complete squeeze job by the voters, media, and talking heads to mandate a 90% win rate by a non P-5 school with a top 30 SOS to even be ranked in top 15 or 20 in country. We may well get defeated tomorrow night by the leghumpers but dangit we shouldn't have to be put in a situation where we have to win to be ranked. We should already be ranked because of the body of work we have already completed. If and I say if we stumble against Starkvegas then we will have to win 5 in a row to even get to the point we are at now in the eyes of the pollsters and talking heads and that my friends is a tragedy. Potential is not why a team should be ranked but performance is and this P-5 bullcrap has got to stop in baseball because baseball has more parity and P-5's are getting there arses handed to them on a weekly bases but still are getting all the publicity , votes and money. Rant is over but dang I know I'm on to something here.
