Someone said that there are no more free tickets given out. I think in the long term it will work out for the best. There are several schools/teams struggling with attendance.
Yes that is what the AD wanted which I think is fair. It’s time for everyone to pay for a ticket like we all do. But revenue hasn’t been hurt from doing this from what I read in the newspaper.
I saw that Arkansas' stadium was pretty empty for an SEC team against mistake. Their end zone and upper decks were not full. Granted, it was cold and rainy but still, I thought the mighty SEC always filled their stadiums.
Yes Arkansas is and the big money folks weren't buying the suites because of AD last two football hires. That's what got him canned last week.
When my family evacuated up there before Harvey, I was listening to the local sports radio. There was a lot of discussion about no more games in Little Rock because the attendance they had could have fit inside The Rock. Looks to me like their school will lose their coach soon. I hope our former AD Mack the Knife included a large buyout on Hop's contract. I don't see Hop exiting soon, but if and when he leaves, the university should be compensated accordingly.
Are you suggesting that you think there's a chance that coach Hopson is a potential candidate for the Arkansas head coach position?
No I don't think so, but if he has successful seasons ahead he will be gone. I just hope he has a multi-million dollar buyout if and when it occurs.
I've never understood why they play in Little Rock and Fayetteville. But then again, I'm not an Arkansas fan and don't know the history.
