A good win...it still won't get USM to Sunday but a little balm in last night's wound helps. The lack of hitting and run production concerns me. If the bats don't wake up, the eagles won't see Saturday, much less Sunday. USM has never won more than two games once in the loser's bracket.

Hey, I don't know if the announcers know what they are talking about, but they seemed to think we are just about a lock to host.?.?.?. And who knows, Houston, if the bats get hot then anything can happen.

Something changed about this team...the bats have gone cold....they must wake up fast...again I was looking forward to seeing USM on TV for the first time this year Sunday but that will have to wait until the regionals...gladly waiting to eat crow on this one...
