JCJC RHP ace, and former Petal star, Calder Mikell (4-0, 1.25 ERA this season) has committed to Southern Miss. Mikell signed with Ole Miss out of high school, but transferred after 1 semester. He'll have 3 yrs of eligibility remaining at USM

Officially signed with Southern Miss today. Hopefully he won't be a draft casualty in June.
