I like the stats angle....but now take a look at where we got our 9 wins and where Ole Piss and MSU got their wins. I don't think the stats hold up. We lost to MSU and a poor Nebraska team. But, we're on our way back and will have a chance to make a big statement next year vs LSU and Kentucky.

I'm too lazy to research the other two teams, but I can assure you the comptetition was a lot stiffer. Let's be happy with our season and not worry about the other programs at this point.

So am I, aged, maybe because I have seen a lot of Southern Miss football, beginning about 1961. Yes, I am that old. Glad to be where we are. SMTTT!

The answer is no, we aren't. State beat us. Ole Miss beat State. Ole Miss is the best team.

Stats can be skewed. Look at who we've played and compare it to who they've played. We're a good team, no doubt, but we aren't the best in the state.

Eagleprof if you started watching Southern Miss football in 1961, that does date you. I started in 1959. I can't believe it has been 56 seasons in The Rock.

We may not be the best team in MS but I think that IF we played MS st right now we'd win. And I'd like to see what would happen if we played OM. I think it would be a good game.

Wins or losses against both MSU and Nebraska the numbers don't lie. Will still put up some stats on both those teams. I fully believe that if we had them at the end of the season we would take them. I feel like we can hang with any team in the nation right now.
