The behavior by the group of WKU fans in their Right Field Rowdy's area was despicable. Due to obligations I was only able to attend the Friday night game at WKU and drove home after the game. There was a group of college-age dudes shouting obscenities at the Southern Miss players along with sexually graphic statements about the Southern Miss player's mothers and other relatives. This was worse than anything I have ever witnessed on the road, including the many games at LSU over the years. I would up moving from the 3rd baseline over to the 1st baseline but could still hear them as they were really loud.

I am very sorry you encountered such a thing, CGE. It is a shameful thing, and you would think that security was aware of it and the university would do something about it.

But this is the society we live in today. No morals, no principles, no sense of decency, and a willingness to impose it on everyone who will take it off of them. Worse, is that these people are cowards. If they were faced with real resistance they would scatter like a flock of birds from a cat (or eagle), and then gather and whine that they were mistreated.

I am very sorry for your experience. I am sorry for you, them, and all of us. Lord, God protect us that we do not need this generation to fight a war.
