HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Drew Boyd threw six strong innings and Reed Trimble drove in four runs on a couple of hits as Southern Miss completed a four-game sweep of Middle Tennessee with a 9-5 victory Sunday afternoon at Pete Taylor Park.

Good job against MTS. It would have been great to have gone 5-0 this week. However, SE La was probably the best team we played this week and we can't seem to win mid-week games much this year.

Hopefully we can move up a notch or two in the polls this week. How much better could 33-15 be if not for 2 winnable rainouts and we could have won a couple against USA.
