That's awesome! I think he's got about as much chance to get playing time in Cleveland as anywhere else. I love the fact that he gets to hang around the league for a couple more years and maybe get his shot, and earn some real money while doing it.

I think he proved in St. Louis that he can be a more-then-serviceable backup QB, and can even get a team through a rough patch in the season as a starter. I happen to believe AD's intelligence, versatility, decision-making, and competitive drive makes up for any physical attributes, and I would like to see him have another chance to be a full-time starter for a team.


The Rams, like many teams, were still looking for that elite QB that can carry a team on a championship run. AD had a heck of a dressed rehearsal in St. Louis. He performed very well in a game or two...not-so-well in others. I can't fault the Rams. They game him a fair shot.
