I am sure a number of you will make fun and wise off about this post. I could care less. Because of my wife, I just attended three Lady Golden Eagle basketball games in a row. As you know, we won all three of them. If we played the same three teams again, I'm not sure we could beat any of them. They were bigger, faster and more athletic, but we beat them the Southern Miss way -- with heart. Never quit, never say die, come from behind heart.
This is not about whether you like lady, female., or girls basketball. This is about supporting Southern Miss. The truth is you don't even have to come to the game, you just have to buy tickets in the next eight hours. In fact, you can buy youth tickets for $5 bucks. If we sell the most tickets, we host either Michigan or Missouri this weekend. And I can assure the second reason the team is still alive is home court advantage. Must be worth ten points a game. Amazing to watch them feed off the crowd and Logan Grubbs fire up the crowd as the announcer. He is a phenomenal. If you are coming, be there in time for the player introductions, it is special.
