Anyone going to the Super Bowl VIII stadium tomorrow to watch the Eagles?

I'll be there tomorrow with my son.( I'll be the only one wearing Astros/Eagles gear). I expect a big victory.

I just got home. This was my first football game in 5 years. There wasa great contingent ofg olden Eagle fans there. My son got a picture with Seymour and then I think Malik Shorts(I'll have to look it up). A great time was had by all.

I lived in the shadow of Rice Stadium for 3 years while I was stationed in Houston. I would have beem at the game if I still lived there. I have good memories of the area of town around Rice University. My favorite restaurants/pubs were the McGonige'ls Mucky Duck, the Black Labrador Pub and several places in Rice Village.

On the way to get on 59 from the game, there are some really beautiful homes in the area. There is never is a lack of something to do in the area. Today was the extremely rare occasion that I could leave my own home, see the Eagles in person, and return to my own home in the same day. This was my first game in five years, and it brought back a lot memories of days gone by. I also will say that Seymour is still the great entertainer and players really appreciate the support.

I'll add one more thing...several cadets were sworn into the armed forces (not sure the branch) in the endzone during a break in play.That was probably my favorite part of the whole experience.
