On the debut edition of 'Inside Southern Miss Athletics,' John Cox visits with Director of USM Athletics Jeremy McClain to discuss the impact COVID-19 is having on student-athletes, coaches and administrators. Head Baseball Coach Scott Berry also joins Cox to shine a light on the specific challenges the program is facing during this unprecedented time. This includes Berry's take on spring sport athletes gaining an extra year of eligibility. And finally, John visits with former Golden Eagle left-hander Kirk McCarty to detail life in the Minor Leagues and look back on some of his finest memories while playing for Southern Miss.
