everyone seems to agree that we will be improved, but not vastly. Most saying 4-5 wins and no bowl game. USM had one of the worst defenses in the country and league last season. The rags seem to agree that we will have the worst Oline and Dline in the conf this season. While I am concerned about the Dline, I think we will surprise many with improved play along the offensive front. We are gonna have to outscore most teams to win. I do not think the D has enough athletes yet to be very effective. We are in need of some bad ass Dlinemen like we once had. Our athletes up front are very average. Hope Ricky Parks can add some pass rush off the edge. We have had the least amount of sacks in the conf for the past two seasons. Does not matter how good your secondary is when the QB can stand in the pocket all day. Still say 6-6 and a bowl game.
