1. The team was not mentally prepared to play. The penalties the Eagles committed were nothing more than mental.
2. There was a lack of effort from most of the team. Gore Jr, Bozeman, Perkins. Maples ayed with a lot of grit and heart, but for the most part it was if the team was going through the motions.
3. There was no discipline. This group does not play as a team. Too much jawing by the DB's after they were getting beat on the deep ball most of the night. Players arguing with coaches can not be tolerated, especially when another ayer has to get between player and coach to separate them.
There is one common denominator in all this. A poor job of getting team prepared to play.
