5-29-2021 Ostrander brings in his shortstop, who has never thrown a ball at the college level, to close a CUSA semifinal against the number one offense in the conference and in the meat of their order.. We had a three run lead in the bottom of the ninth, and we lost due to the most idiotic decision perhaps ever made in baseball. All the while our head coach allows this to happen. Forbid that it was his decision. DO YOU REALIZE WHAT HAS BEEN LOST??? This is an absolute disaster of unknown proportions on so many levels.

What about the players and their parents? Not to mention the fans or the reputation of sports at Southern Miss. Not to mention the loss of support. What about just general embarrassment and shame?

I have never been so disgusted.

As stated in a previous post, we'll be #2 seed at insert $EC team. Knowing our luck it will be Starkville or Fayetteville. USM will NOT host.
