2 different St. Louis Rams QBs are gone...

Or would AD get a better opportunity elsewhere? The biggest issue the Rams have is their OL......Jeff Fischer did a good job bringing Air McNair along, so he knows QBs.....if AD had more time and protection that would make a huge difference...

I agree. I was hoping some other team would pick Austin up. Jeff Fisher has no interest in Austin Davis being his starting QB, much less his backup. He didn't want to start Austin, but it was obvious he did so because of the flack he was receiving from the fans and St. Louis sports media. Then after telling Austin that the rest of the season was his, and not to look over his shoulder- Fisher did exactly that and yanked him. Austin didn't see the field at all during the final seven games. If Fisher had any interest in developing Austin Davis as a future starter he would not have permanently benched him. And it should be mentioned that veteran Shaun Hill was no better in the win column than Austin was.

Even with the departure of Bradford and Hill, I wouldn't be surprised to see Fisher cut Davis from the team- unless Austin agrees to join the practice squad. I hope Austin wouldn't stoop to that level after reaching the position that he did.

This is my prediction of what will happen by the start of the season. Nick Foles will take the place of Sam Bradford and will be designated the starting QB. Case Keenum was just resigned by the Rams today, after finishing 2014 with the Houston Texans where he went 2-0 as the starter at the end of the season. Fisher will make Keenum his backup. During this year's draft the Rams will use their #10 first round pick to get their future franchise QB. So that will round out the 3 QBs on the final roster- Nick Foles, Case Keenum, and their #1 draft pick. My hope is that Austin will be released now so he has an opportunity to join another team. Trying to make another team after final cuts are made will be all the more difficult.
