I was moving into The Lancaster Apartments next door to the Pete on that day. The moving stopped when I got the tv set up.

The sound of car horns blowing, EVERYWHERE, as far as you could hear told the story when the game ended.

I will never forget it.

There was a poster on here many years ago that relayed a similar story, but it may have been the 1990 Bama game. He said that his neighbors were all cocky about the game. he could see them grilling next door, but by the end of the game they shut their window/gate or something to that effect.

BTW speaking of MS and 1989, I can STILL remember it as clear as day.......
