— Coastal Carolina was one of the last four teams in the field in our latest projections on Monday. The Chanticleers did nothing to hurt their chances on Tuesday, beating Georgia State 5-1 at the Sun Belt tournament behind strong pitching from Riley Eikhoff and clutch hitting from Dean Mihos. CCU’s RPI went up two spots to 33 with the win over the Panthers. Next up is a date with Southern Miss on Wednesday afternoon. A win here would be massive for Gary Gilmore’s club.

I dont know if Creel is a good hitting coach or not, and neither do any of you
Hitting is about adjustments, Teams/pitchers learn pretty quickly what you can and can not hit
Its the player responsability to readjust to what they are doing to them
Just because one hits 300 one year does not guarantee continuosly success
And there are plenty of examples in the big leagues For instance last year NL rookie of the year is hitting under 200 and there are many more examples
Now, Im not saying that Creel is a good coach or not, but to blame him because Wilkes swings at pitches up in his eyeballs is just unjustified and wrong
