I am ready for the 5-hour trip and at my age, it is no picnic what is worse, I have no parking pass. I have been waiting for it to arrive but no luck. Anyone else having this problem?

This is actually a really good thing for Southern Miss. Current coaches can really focus on coaching and not have to spend much time on recruiting. Also if USM decides at the end of the season to go a different direction for HC, they have time to get things together before visits start.

Spoke to Ragsdale and Habas

Both really like the new nutrition rules put in place by Walden. They both said that they feel better and the can tell the team has more energy and practicing harder as well.

Not a lot of film to look at on La Tech. They just have had to watch what they did in the past and if they come out in different formation and plays, make adjustments.

Habas stated that they worked on tackling a whole lot these 2 weeks. Feels they are ready to plasy.

Practice has been much more energized and the players seem to really like it.

Both players came in with really good attitudes. Sometimes you can tell if a practice was off or wasn't good. Every player we have spoke to in the past 2 weeks has looked like they are enjoying football again.

Both are excited to play, they were concerned this game might not happen because of La Tech's injjuries and Covid situation.

Seeing on tweeter... PG is still writing things about exposing every one and every thing.

Unfortunately, I also saw a current player, Tre Johnson, commenting on his tweets his love and support and vows to "speak on the truth even if nobody else wants to listen." The coaches can't be happy about this and Paulie G is doing more harm than good. If he truly cares for the players like he says he does, then he needs to stop instigating. Go on and write your book, but leave the players out of it.

The Golden Eagles will look to get their first win of the season as they host the Bulldogs of La Tech Saturday at The Rock. The past 2 weeks have been ones of change and new directions as Co-OC Scotty Walden has taken over as head coach after the resignation of Jay Hopson. Walden has instituted a number of changes.

Until this week La Tech has not been able to have much if any contact the past 2 weeks because everyone was out injured or with Covid. They supposedly got 30 players back Sunday. Because of this, it is a good chance for Scotty to get his 1st win Saturday.
