This is huge. This capital campaign has been going on for a few years now. Covid delayed some things. The AD will releasing a big short/long multi point athletics investment plan in the coming weeks. In this plan is supposedly a new IPF, renovations to our bball arena, some other upgrades to other athletics facilities.
From this 30 mill, I expect we'll prob spend 10-15 mill on an IPF and another 15-20 million on RGC renovations/soccer field lights. There's also a good bit of money the University has set aside/saved from a city 1-cent tax increase implemented about 3 years ago just for USM athletics that the citizens of Hattiesburg voted for.
