Copeland pitched again in today's game and had 2 scoreless innings. Had to get a bases loaded double play to not give up a run but he got it done.

Unfortunately McCrory was terrible in his two brief call ups in 2008 and 2009. Career ERA of 16.46 in 15 appearances.

Copeland was called up again by Toronto on May 18th and sent back to AAA baseball today without entering a game during the 10 days he was with Toronto. I am not sure why the bothered to call him up.

They had a lot of close games the past week. I got the impression that he's only going to pitch if they're up or down by a bunch of runs.
Toronto's coach doesn't know what he's doing with his bullpen. I'm playing Fantasy Baseball and that is the consensus according to Fantasy experts. Not saying that it means much, but he can't even stick with a closer for more than a couple days without flip flopping. Let's hope that Copeland finds his way to a team willing to give him a shot. Just saying.
Copeland was called up again on June 2nd and sent back down on June 3rd without playing in a game. I hope he can get traded to some other team.

Copeland had a great start and got the win. I was going to make a joking comment that the great start will probably result in him getting sent down to AAA ball but Toronto actually did it.
