inter-disciplinary studies in football

Watching college football, many student athletes opt for an "inter-disciplinary studies" major. Don't really know what that is but my guess is it is a course of study to tailor fit the burdensome class requirement for football majors ?

Judging from some of the events that occur, one wonders just what do these players study ? LSU QB is caught fighting, Ole Miss QB is caught fighting...hitting a cop ! USM has had their problems with players being in the wrong places at the wrong times.
Some possible courses in a Interdisciplinary studies curriculum >>>
Criminal Justice 166-6: Perpetration
Approaches Criminal Justice from the perpetrator's point of view. Course will outline locating a bail's bondsmen, pleading the fifth, displacing blame on cops, & concealing a weapon.
Linguistics 166-6: colloquial English.
Student must show proficient in the street colloquialisms present in modern English. A student will be required to present a speech in butchered English.
Music Appreciation 166-6: RAP/Hip-Hop. No Beethoven here ! Students will must able to correctly identify contemporary RAP "artist".
Physical Education 166-6: bar fighting...students will learn proper technique of a bar fight.
Chemistry 166-6: the meth lab...student will be required to mix up methamphetamine from common household products...

Botany 166-6: Marijuana cultivation. Student will be required to cultivate their own "weed".

Computer Science 166-6: text-ing
Art 166-6: the tattoo ...students will compare body art in class.
Business 166-6: Economics of the black market.
