And now that he has a ring on his finger...his marginal 2k rushing/2k receiving/fumblitis bound punt figures are inflated dramatically. And his constant injury proneness is covered up. And now a 30 yard catch is perceived to be worth 8.5M this season...

Just disgusting. Deuce and Pierre are the real RBs that help the Saints win their games. Bush is just a flashy RB that might get you 20 yards..or might lose you 10. Might get a TD...or might fumble the ball and lose possession for you. Might be productive...and might just be a decoy that sometimes people don't even respect.

Never been a huge fan of Reggie's, but he is a pretty useful gadget player in this offense. He's not worth his contract or pick status, but we'll miss him for what he is. We're also really thin at the runningback position now.

Based on your comments, you really don't understand the game of football. Football is a team sport and Reggie Bush is the ultimate team player. He came in with great accolades and has accepted his role as "decoy". Bush is one of the main reasons that the Saints offense works.

Did you not notice the numerous times in the game Monday when the 49er D was extremely focused on Bush allowing other players to excel? If not then you are blind.

Compared to his peers in his own draft class, Bush is a BUST. And his only value football wise is the value of being a "maybe" player.

Maybe he'll break one.
Maybe he'll shake one.
Maybe he'll take one back to the house.

But he's not good enough to stay on the field for 3 downs though...I guess 8.5M doesn't include the clause of a player finally getting to that point...
